I  can't walk anywhere
There's glass all over the floor
All the windows are broken
I can't shut the door

Strangers are everywhere
From my left to my right
I can see my breath
It's so cold tonight

My parents are drinking again
I can't find them in my broken home
They're like strangers to me
Sometimes I wish I were alone

Daddy is angry
All through the house I am chased
I'm beaten again
Blood all over the place.

I'm sick in the hospital
The state's going to take me away
As much as I hate my home
I just want to stay.
